Attend the Wellness Enterprise’s workshop on navigating polarization on Nov. 14

Monday, October 16th, 2023

As you know, we live in a time where communities are often in tension with each other. This tension can manifest in a polarization of behaviors, attitudes, emotions, and beliefs that often leaves us in a place of despair.

The Wellness Enterprise invites you to a workshop that provides a Christ-centered approach to a more hopeful path of communication and relationship that addresses the isolating polarization. All employees are invited to “Being the Bridge Between Despair and Hope: Navigating Polarizing Times” in Roberts 170 on Tuesday, Nov. 14, from 4 to 6 p.m.

The workshop will be presented by Executive Dean David Cimbora and Dr. Norlan Hernandez, who serves as Vanguard University’s director for the Jesse Miranda Center for Hispanic Leadership and as founder and president of Faithful Teachings, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to partnering with local faith-based communities on holistic initiatives for the transformation of society in Latin America.

If you have any questions, you may direct them to David Cimbora at dcimbora@georgefox.edu.
