BruinBuy is now live for the Pilot Groups

BruinBuy is now live for the Pilot Groups (IT, Plant Services, and Bio-Chem). Effective immediately, all purchase requests for these departments must be submitted through the platform. The go-live date for the rest of the campus is scheduled for July 1, 2025.

We will continue to monitor the performance of the Pilot Groups, and training sessions remain available. If you would like to receive training, please contact the university procurement services team at procurement-bruinbuy@georgefox.edu.

Hadlock offers employee-only climbing classes this summer

Interested in learning some climbing fundamentals at the George Fox climbing wall, especially without students on campus? University Recreation is offering a School of Rock class for employees only, starting Tuesday, June 10. This class will repeat weekly through July!

University Recreation will also be offering a top rope fundamentals course, once in June and once in July. If you are interested in learning how to belay and climb on the ropes, this class is for you!

Be sure to review your department expenses as we approach year-end

Happy spring! Please complete a careful review of your department expenses using your VENA reports now, looking at your transactions through April 30.

Completing those adjustments now, before June 30, will help us stay on our very tight year-end schedule. This way, adjustments required in early July should only relate to May and June.

Learn to make gorgeous hanging baskets, like the ones that grace our George Fox quad area, tomorrow (Wednesday) starting at 9 a.m. You will learn a valuable skill and help decorate our beautiful campus. Take Mom to pizza Sunday and support Costa Rica service trip in the process

Mom’s love pizza and supporting a good cause, so take Mom out for pizza and support the university’s Costa Rica service trip!

This year, students from PA, PT, OT, kinesiology and nursing will be traveling to Costa Rica to provide medical services to underserved people. To help support their trip, nursing and kinesiology students are holding a fundraiser at MOD pizza.

The Costa Rica service trip will receive 25% of fundraiser sales during this fundraiser. Participate on Sunday, May 11, by ordering online using the code MODGIVES25, or by visiting the Newberg MOD location and showing this fundraiser flier or mentioning the fundraiser at checkout.
