Tomorrow (Wednesday) is “America Recycles Day.” Our local recycling service, Waste Management, is hosting a virtual webinar from 6 to 7 p.m. where they will talk about what goes on behind the scenes at a recycling center, how to sort holiday waste correctly, and inspiration for creative “upcycled” gift wrapping.

Ben Bowman is a Democrat in the Oregon State Legislature. Reagan Knopp is a Republican political activist. They disagree … a lot! But they also work together to produce The Oregon Bridge, the best political podcast in the state.
How do they do it? How do they relate to their guests from across the political spectrum? How do they keep the podcast so upbeat and civil? What effect are they trying to have on Oregon politics? How much pushback do they get from people in the two major parties? What can we learn from their experience?
Come find out tonight (Monday) at 7:15 p.m. in Hoover 105. This event is sponsored by the George Fox University Civility Project. For further information, contact Ron Mock at civility@georgefox.edu.
