French club is having its final event of the year on Saturday at La Provence in Beaverton. We will meet for brunch together at 10 a.m. before we all go home for the summer. Introductory Mandarin I and Introductory Mandarin II will be offered in fall and spring, respectively. These courses meet students’ general education requirement for Intercultural Experience or Global/Cultural Understanding.
These are beginner level courses in Mandarin Chinese for students who have little or no previous Chinese experience. Students will gain language skills including listening, speaking, reading and writing in Mandarin Chinese as well as increase understanding and competence in Chinese culture.
