Whether you’re a new or returning student, living on campus or commuting, we encourage you to take some time to review the Student Handbook.
The handbook is an important resource that outlines the lifestyle standards, community policies, and other aspects of the George Fox community. The expectations within it help our community function in a way that reflects our Christ-centered mission.
You are responsible for reviewing and following all university policies. We hope you find this searchable handbook to be a helpful and informative tool. Be sure to check the section titled Policy Updates near the beginning to see what’s changed for the current academic year.
If you have any questions, please contact Mark Pothoff at mpothoff@georgefox.edu or Jere Witherspoon at jwithers@georgefox.edu in the student life office.

Experience Shakespeare’s madcap farce like never before in our breathless 80-minute production of The Comedy of Errors.
Performed in our beautiful outdoor amphitheater, this production features George Fox students, staff, alumni and community professionals. Enjoy an evening of hilarious slapstick humor as two sets of twins turn a Mediterranean town upside down through narrow escapes, mistaken identities, and an abundance of errors.
Patrons are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chairs for seating during the performance. One free ticket is available for each George Fox student (Wednesday or Thursday shows only) and staff member (any performance). Use your georgefox.edu email address when checking out online at the box office.
Shows run this Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 20-21; Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 23-24; and Thursday through Sunday, Aug. 28-31. All shows begin at 8 p.m.
We’re excited to announce that the Bruin Discounts webpage is now live!
Bruin Discounts is a program where local businesses generously offer exclusive discounts to members of the George Fox community. These offers are our way of saying thank you to you – and a way for us to support and strengthen our ties with Newberg’s local businesses.
Letters were sent to businesses a few weeks ago, and we are still receiving replies; those will be added as they come in. You can now view available discounts here.
Following are the policies for using Bruin Discounts:
We encourage you to frequent and thank these local businesses for their generosity and for supporting our George Fox community.
Do you know of a business that would like to join? They can submit their offer using this form.
Thank you for being part of the George Fox community and helping us build strong local relationships!
Mail Services would like to remind you to please use the correct address when shipping packages or mail to the university.
