All students who plan to bring a vehicle to campus must register their vehicles for parking permits!
Since the university’s parking registration fee has been incorporated into the student fee, students will no longer need to pay an additional out-of-pocket fee to register their vehicle. Students bringing a vehicle to campus must register their vehicle here and obtain a parking permit. When you register, make sure you have your DMV registration slip in front of you.
Remember that residents, commuters, and graduate students must register for their corresponding permits, and vehicles must be parked in the lots assigned to their permit. There have been significant changes in parking areas this year, so be sure to look over our new parking map to ensure you are parking in the right place.
If you have any trouble registering your vehicle, please call the Campus Public Safety office at 503-554-2090 so that we may assist you.
Questions? Call the Campus Public Safety office at the above number, or email Elrike Shaw at eshaw@georgefox.edu.

Students, if you need a place to park your vehicles, please remember not to park in the parking lots of our local businesses, as doing so would take up their limited space. If you do use their parking lots, you risk getting your vehicle towed at your expense.
Please help us to be good neighbors to the businesses around campus.
Questions? Call the Campus Public Safety office at 503-554-2090 or email Elrike Shaw at eshaw@georgefox.edu.

Do you have what it takes to survive a zombie outbreak?
The Tactical Adventure Games Club (TAG) is hosting a week-long game of Humans vs. Zombies! It is essentially a week-long game of tag. The humans struggle to survive while the zombies attempt to infect the humans, turning them into more zombies.
Humans vs Zombies is the same game that we play in the “Bruins vs Foxes” event hosted every year by Student Activities. We’ll still be having Bruins vs Foxes in the spring as usual, but there’s no reason we can’t play Humans vs. Zombies as well!
The official rules and sign up can be found here.
The game will begin this Monday, Sept. 6, and continue until Friday afternoon, Sept. 10.
Can you survive a whole week and claim the prizes for your efforts?
Can you infect the most humans and reap your rewards?
Only one way to find out!
If you have any questions or would like clarification, email Zach Cogswell at zcogswell18@georgefox.edu.

The Maker Hub would like to welcome back the whole Fox community with a fun game night tonight (Thursday) from 4 to 7 p.m. This will include vintage Atari video games and boardgames.
We are also encouraging folks to bring their own gaming consoles and hook them up to the flat-screen TVs in the meeting rooms. LAN party in the computer lab, anyone? No need to RSVP, just show up!
This event will also double as a Quiz Party. You may be aware that you need to pass a Canvas quiz to gain access to the Maker Hub (link found on the Maker Hub wiki page). But don’t worry, the quiz is not a requirement for the game night; the doors will be propped open.
We are treating it like an open-house event, so bring your friends, have fun, look around, ask questions, and take the quiz if you would like to get connected with the Maker Hub.
Please contact Nick Sullivan (nsullivan@georgefox.edu) if you have questions.
