The Cultural Ambassadors are hosting Portland tours aimed at connecting George Fox students with organizations/businesses that currently use their platforms to center BIPOC communities and their diverse stories.
Our next trip – to the Portland Art Museum on Saturday, March 5 – will seek to discuss questions such as: “How do we support BIPOC artists and their artistic practice?,” “What does it mean to be an activist as an artist?” and “Who are some local Portland artists that I should know about/how can I support them?”
We will meet that morning at the Intercultural Resource Center at 10 a.m. Join us as we discuss these questions, learn more about art as activism, and talk about the amazing legacy that artists of color are creating all around us.
Admission on the tours is free! Sign up here.
Questions? Contact Victoria Prieto at vprieto17@georgefox.edu.

Please help University Recreation improve our Fitness Center by taking this 10-minute survey. We want to hear from the voices of our students and employees as we consider different options to make the Fitness Center more functional, accessible and enjoyable for the entire George Fox community.
As an incentive, everyone who completes this survey by Tuesday, March 1, will receive a $5 voucher for the Hadlock Rental Center!
Anyone can take the survey regardless of whether or not they are an active user of our weight room. Feedback from people that don’t use the weight room is valuable in many ways.
Please email Angel Glockling at aglockling@georgefox.edu with any questions about this survey. Thank you!
