We are two senior kinesiology students looking for people to participate in our senior research project. Our topic is looking at the prevalence of pelvic floor dysfunction and anxiety in college students.
We would appreciate it if you could take just 10 to 15 minutes to fill out our survey to help us collect data for our study. We will need to record participant names in this informed consent form, but once you actually take the survey it will be completely anonymous. Anyone can participate, regardless if you know what pelvic floor dysfunction is or if you think you experience it.
If you want to participate, please read and sign the informed consent form. Once you have done that, you will receive an email with the link to the actual survey. Thank you!
Please reach out if you have any questions about the study; our emails are mguglielmo19@georgefox.edu and eforbes20@georgefox.edu.
Disclaimer: These surveys are student generated and are not to be associated with any official research conducted by faculty and staff at George Fox University. Did you know Oregon has been in a drought for the past 23 years? One place you can help conserve water is in the bathroom. The average toilet flush uses 1.6 gallons of water. Now, we can’t tell you to go to the bathroom less, but you can make an impact in other ways.
The typical shower head uses 2.5 gallons of water per minute, the average shower takes eight minutes, and the water usage per shower is 20 gallons. How long is your average shower? One way you can reduce your shower time is to listen to two to three songs and then get out.

The Maker Hub’s wood shop is full of equipment to help with your next wood-related project! Our Laguna SmartShop II is a CNC wood router capable of cutting out complex shapes that would otherwise be difficult to create by hand.
Like all CNC machines, the SmartShop II is most useful when a design calls for a high level of precision. Check out this video of a CNC Router in action to make a studio desk! Visit the Maker Hub’s Wiki Page for more information.
The Maker Hub exists as a resource and creative outlet for the entire George Fox community (yes, including non-engineers!). We are looking for student aces. A student ace is simply an expert on a piece of equipment who helps train other students on the usage of that equipment and gains extra privileges within the Maker Hub.
Please email makerhub@georgefox.edu if you would like to get connected or have any questions.
