Tuesday, October 31st, 2023

In celebration of Native American Heritage Month (November), the Intercultural Resource Center has compiled a digital document for engagement this month.

We invite you to join us in learning from and witnessing the Gospel message through followers of Jesus in First Nations communities, citing passages from the First Nations version of the New Testament and the works of George Fox faculty alumni.

Additionally, every good Heritage Month involves getting together, so we will be hosting events here at the IRC (the Moore House), including a First Nations connection event on Thursday, Nov. 9, from 4 to 5 p.m., as well as a film screening of Indian Horse on Wednesday, Nov. 29, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

We hope that these opportunities serve as a starting point for your celebration this month. As always, we want to hear and represent you, so if you have recommendations for celebrating this month and future cultural heritage months, please let us know by filling out this form.
