Join in discussion and watch documentary on refugees

Sunday, November 25th, 2018

Join us at 6 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday) in Hoover 105 to watch a showing of the documentary film Soufra, the inspirational story of intrepid social entrepreneur Mariam Shaar, a refugee who has spent her entire life in the 69-year-old Burl El Barajneh refugee camp south of Beirut, Lebanon.

This gathering reflects and enhances our understanding of the refugee population and is a wonderful opportunity to engage in this important topic. Join us as we raise awareness of the benefits of welcoming our neighbors and practicing radical hospitality.

Refreshments will be provided. We hope to see you there! Contact Regan Hill (rhill15@georgefox.edu) for more information.
