Construction will begin Monday, April 20, on part of the Bauman parking lot. The area closest to Fulton Street will be fenced off, and construction vehicles will be driving through by the large plantings.
If you have a vehicle that needs to be parked in the Bauman lot, please park as close to Stoffer Stadium as possible in order to avoid construction traffic. Questions can be sent to Plant Services (plantservices@georgefox.edu). Thank you!

Students: Do you have opinions on the current meal plan system? Take this survey to give feedback. Think back to your experiences in the Bruin Den, Canyon Commons and Bruin Bites to give some honest opinions on your experience.
This is not a survey created by the housing office, but the results will be reviewed in committees implementing change in future years. Questions? Contact Noelle Murray at nmurray17@georgefox.edu.
Disclaimer: These surveys are student generated and are not to be associated with any official research conducted by faculty and staff at George Fox University. Any views or opinions presented in these surveys are solely those of the students and do not represent those of George Fox University. A George Fox alumna, JeanneAnn Farris, and a current student, Nicola Pieper, have created a play called International. A free play reading will be performed via Zoom on Wednesday, April 22, at 7:30 p.m.
International is a play that explores the challenges and experiences of people who identify with more than one country. It delves into the struggles of identity in country, identity in the Christian faith, and the clashes and correlation of the two in relation to one another. It’s a compiling of interviews, most of which are associated with students and faculty of George Fox University.
If you’re interested, would like to know more information, or would like the link to the Zoom session, email internationalstagedreading@gmail.com.

Please make sure that you continue to carefully follow physical distancing guidelines to slow the spread of COVID. With the beautiful weather, it is tempting to relax our attention to these important matters.
If you are using the George Fox track or field or are out on the quad or elsewhere on campus, these guidelines from the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) should be carefully followed:
- Stay home, save lives. The best way to stay healthy and prevent the spread of COVID-19 is to stay home. You must also limit things you do outside your home to what you must do. Examples of things you must do are shopping for food or picking up medicines. The governor’s order does not allow gatherings where people cannot keep six feet apart. Also, the order does not allow social events and non-essential business where people come into close contact.Â
- Maintain six feet between you and all other people.
- Wash or sanitize your hands after contact with any surface.
- Do not touch your face, except after washing and sanitizing your hands.
- Avoid groups and contact with other people.
For more information on physical distancing and Oregon’s novel coronavirus response, click here. Questions? Contact Campus Public Safety at 503-554-2090.

Student Accounts is now processing personal checks through my.georgefox.edu. This payment method allows for swift, secure and safe payment handling. An added benefit is that payments generate a receipt to the student that can be forwarded to whomever made payment on their account.
To make future payments online directly, please visit our website to learn how and to authorize access for others to make payments on your behalf. You will find that once the bank account information is saved, the payment process is very quick. No fee is charged for submitting e-check payments. Thank you for helping us in this way!
This change impacts personal check payments only. Other payments require customary handling and will experience a slight delay.
Contact Jenny Getsinger (jgetsing@georgefox.edu) if you have any questions.

Each year during Holy Week, the Office for Spiritual Life invites the community to meditate on Jesus’ journey to the cross through a Stations of the Cross prayer experience.
As we are not able to gather together for this annual tradition, the university pastors invite you to create a similar experience in your own home. We invite you to print this document and post the Scriptures around your home so that, as you move through your house, you may prayerfully meditate on Jesus’ journey to the cross throughout this Holy Week.
Peace be with you.

- Offers for low prices on personal protective equipment (masks, gloves, etc.)
- Information appearing to come from health authorities
- Messages claiming to alert an individual about the suspension of his or her social security number
