We are on a mission to make George Fox’s Be Known promise available to all! That is why this week we are highlighting four scholarship funds that support retention among our student communities.
- Inertia Fund Endowed Scholarship
- Support engineering students alongside alumnus Allen McLeod, who created this scholarship just two years after graduating. The name specifically points to the concept of putting something in motion, according to McLeod, whose hope was that others would join in to help grow the fund.
- Legacy League Leadership Scholarship
- Support sophomore, junior and senior students with financial needs and demonstrated leadership while attending George Fox. The Legacy League is a service organization of alumni, parents, friends and employees of the university who are dedicated to supporting its mission.
- Mark Selid Scholarship
- In memory of Mark Selid, a beloved accounting professor, help provide this $5,000 scholarship for outstanding accounting and finance students.
- School of Professional Studies (SPS) Scholarship
- Support working adults pursuing their bachelor’s degree through one of U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Online Bachelor’s Programs.”
Does one of the above funds stand out? Join the increasing employee donor community by making a donation to one of the funds that you’re passionate about. Click here for details on all “George Fox Gives” funds.
