Equipment rental available at Hadlock throughout entire summer

Wednesday, April 27th, 2022

Students, employees and alumni are eligible to rent equipment from the Hadlock Student Center throughout the summer. Popular summer rental items include stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, water tubes, tents, sleeping bags, hammocks, and yard games.

New rental items that will be available this summer include mountain bikes, bike racks, and a multi-person stand-up paddleboard that can hold two to four people.

Summer is our most popular rental season, so we highly recommend making a reservation (no money down) to reserve your equipment online. Please also keep in mind that Hadlock is closed on the weekends, so equipment for the weekend needs to be picked up prior to Saturday and Sunday and dropped off after the weekend concludes.

To see what equipment is available and to make reservations, please go here. If you have questions, please contact AJ Heil at aheil@georgefox.edu.

Have boxes? Deliver them to mailroom for students to use

Tuesday, April 26th, 2022

Does your department have quality boxes? If so, consider giving them to students to pack their belongings for the move home or onward!

Please make sure all boxes are sturdy and either can close completely or have a lid. You can deliver them to the mailroom on the Newberg campus, where students will pick them up free of charge. This is a small but impactful way we can help students Be Known!

Questions? Reach out to Megan Fisher at ext. 2112 or Richard Silver (rsilver@georgefox.edu) in the mailroom.
