Commencement 2007 Information

Tuesday, May 22nd, 2007

George Fox University Boise Center Commencement ceremonies will be held Saturday, June 9, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at Boise State University in the Jordan Ballroom at the Student Union Building. Cohorts graduating are M7, M8, MAT1, B39, B40 and B41.

Regalia is now here! Please stop by Room 1032 to pick up your regalia. If you have any questions, contact Shelly Henson.

Parking: Due to construction at the SUB, we have reserved parking in the following areas: Bronco Lane, West Stadium General permit lot, and the Rec Center lot. There will be “EVENT PARKING” signs posted. Handicap parking is available in the Liberal Arts lot. A parking map can be viewed at BSU Campus Map. BSU does issue parking tickets year-round, so be sure to park in one of these areas to avoid that annoyance.

Guests: There is no limit on number of guests. However, if you have more than 10 guests planning to attend, please contact Joy Reimann at the Boise Center. To maintain the formality of this event, and as a courtesy to other students and their guests, please make sure those of your guests who bring younger children are aware of ceremony policy: If children become agitated or disruptive, they must be taken outside the ballroom.

Graduates Arrival Time: Please plan to arrive by 9 a.m. Cohort pictures will be taken before commencement.

Pictures: Jolesch Photography will be taking cohort pictures as well as individual pictures as you are receiving your diploma. Jolesch will notify you directly regarding picture orders. Please plan to arrive at the Jordan Ballroom early enough to be fully dressed in regalia by 9 a.m.

Videos: The ceremony will not be professionally videoed; however, you are welcome to take your own video within the seating area.

Announcements: Graduation announcements may be purchased directly from Jostens. When ordering, be sure to specify Meridian, Idaho as the location of your school.

Bookstore: The campus bookstore will have merchandise available to purchase at graduation, including beautiful George Fox diploma frames, as well as many other items. You can also check out the George Fox Bookstore website for gift ideas.

If you have additional questions, please contact Chris Young or Joy Reimann at the Boise Center (208-375-3900 or 1-800-749-4369).
