Fire systems testing begins today in campus buildings
Starting today (Wednesday, June 9), the fire systems will be tested in the following buildings:
- Armstrong House
- Canyon Commons
- EHS
- Hadlock Student Center
- Hoover
- Murdock Library
- Roberts Center
- Stevens Center
- Wheeler Sports Center
The testing will take about one hour for each location, and it will take three to four days to test all of these buildings (residential areas are also being tested). The test will be noisy, as the alarm is quite loud (as it’s designed to be). We will try to silence the alarm when it sounds, but the test will involve several iterations of the alarm sounding.
