Woolman Peacemaking Forum visits both campuses this week
Don’t forget this week’s Woolman Peacemaking Forum, featuring pastor and advocate Alexia Salvatierra, on the Newberg and Portland campuses March 3-5. The theme of the event is “People of Peace: Effective Faith-Rooted Advocacy.” There is no charge to attend any of the events.
Here is the schedule of events:
Monday, March 3
- Missional Ecclessiology, Portland Center Room 265, 7-10 p.m. Alexia will speak in this course as a guest of George Fox Evangelical Seminary. No RSVP is required.
Tuesday, March 4
- Faith-rooted advocacy training session with George Fox University praxis class, 9 a.m to 3 p.m. Alexia will lead a training session at the Tilikum Retreat Center. As attendees must commit to the entire session, those interested must RSVP by email to cbaldwin@georgefox.edu to attend.
- Woolman Peacemaking Forum, Main Evening Session, 7-9 p.m., Hoover 105 (Newberg campus). Title: “Faith-Rooted Organizing: Mobilizing the Church in Service to the World.” No RSVP is required.
Wednesday, March 5
- Woolman Peacemaking Forum, Main Morning Session, 10:40-11:30 a.m. chapel in Bauman Auditorium. Title: “Faith-Rooted Organizing: Mobilizing the Church in Service to the World”
