Ed Higgins (Writing/Literature) wrote a review essay on the book Future Americas (John Helfers and Martin H. Greenberg, eds) in the Summer 2008 issue of Science Fiction Research Association Review.

Mark David Hall (Political Science) was one of five featured speakers at a conference on America’s forgotten founders at the University of Louisville Sept. 12-13. He spoke on Roger Sherman’s contributions to creation of the American republic, and he and Gary L. Gregg released the results of their national survey on America’s most important but neglected founders. The two have edited a book based on their survey entitled America’s Forgotten Founders.

Bruce Strom (School of Professional Studies) wrote a column, “Why would you start a business in a down economy,” for the Sept. 10 issue of the Idaho Press-Tribune.
