Our area is expecting periods of snow and icy conditions. Safety is our top priority, and we ask that you take extra care when commuting, entering buildings, and moving between locations. Please keep the following in mind:
- Drive Safely: Allow extra time for your commute and reduce your speed to account for slippery roads.
- Walk Carefully: Watch for icy patches on sidewalks, parking lots, and entryways. Use designated walkways whenever possible. Check out these safety tips.
- Report Hazards: If you notice any areas with dangerous ice buildup, please report them to Plant Services or your building monitor.
Let’s work together to ensure a safe and productive environment during these winter months. Thank you for your attention and cooperation. If you have any questions, contact Kim Knoernschild at kknoernschild@georgefox.edu.
