Learn to engage in civil discourse during this three-session series

Do you have a desire to learn from your peers and have a civil discussion in a safe environment? Join the Civil Discourse Taskforce in the “Living Room Civil Discussions” series.

Over time, the conversation on political issues has become more personal and difficult to navigate. Social media makes it easier to disagree without resolution. Through this series, we will grow in our ability to have civil conversations together.

Join us at the following times and locations. Snacks are provided.

  • Session One: Monday, Sept. 30, Hadlock Student Lounge, 8 to 9 p.m.
  • Session Two: Thursday, Oct. 17, Pennington lobby, 8 to 9 p.m.
  • Session Three: Tuesday, Oct. 29, Newlin classroom, 8 to 9 p.m.
