Join today’s focus group to discuss making the climbing wall more accessible

Monday, March 4th, 2024

Mobility, injury, or other dynamics may make the rock wall unattainable. We want to hold a focus group to provide a platform to share your own thoughts and experiences or even perspectives you have overheard about how the wall might be further accessed.

Today (Tuesday) at 10 a.m. in the Hadlock meeting room, we invite anyone with an interest in listening or sharing their thoughts on how to make the rock wall more inclusive and accessible.

Please consider joining us. We want to listen and learn from your observations so we can accommodate to the best of our ability.

Feel free to contact Dave Johnstone at djohnsto@georgefox.edu if you have any questions.

Share your interest in the creation of a Project Management Group

Monday, March 4th, 2024

Greetings, George Fox community! We are looking to gauge interest in participating in a Project Management Group at the university.

The aim of this group would be to create a supportive community where project managers, coordinators and enthusiasts can come together to share insights, discuss best practices, and collaborate on projects. With this group, we could enhance our collective knowledge, refine our project management skills, and establish a common language and framework for successful project delivery.

Some of the key objectives of the Project Management Group would include:

  • Knowledge Sharing: Providing a platform for sharing experiences, challenges, and successes in project management
  • Resource Exchange: Facilitating the exchange of tools, templates, and resources to streamline project workflows
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving: Offering support and guidance to colleagues facing project-related challenges
  • Networking: Building relationships and fostering connections among project management professionals across different departments and teams

Whether you are an experienced project manager or someone interested in learning more about project management, your perspectives and contributions are valuable!

If you have any questions or would be interested in joining a group like this, please reach out to Derek Pritchett at dpritchett@georgefox.edu.
