Volunteers needed for possible relaunch of ‘Phase 2’

Sunday, April 2nd, 2023

We’re exploring the possibility of relaunching Phase 2, an initiative aimed at collecting the usable things that students living on campus tend to throw in the trash at the end of the academic year, to give them a second chance at being used.

This will only be possible if we can get volunteers to move and sort the items collected. If you would like to volunteer to help with this during the last week and a half or so of the semester, please email Rob Leslie at rleslie@georgefox.edu with the subject line “Phase 2.”

View an on-demand webinar about time management

Sunday, April 2nd, 2023

Two busy partners can make for a stressful household. Managing the unromantic tasks of daily life and household management can be difficult. Making time for the things that really matter – connecting, having fun, playing and resting – can be quite challenging.

In a recently posted Canopy webinar, we discuss ways to better manage your household and make time for what matters most. We discuss the realities of busy, working partners and making the most of the time and energy we have.

Go to Canopy’s Webinar Center to watch it at your convenience.
