Volunteers needed to usher at spring commencement
Join the excitement of spring commencement as a volunteer! We are looking for several volunteers to serve as ushers at the ceremony on Saturday, April 29. Commencement is divided into two separate ceremonies this year, and the schedule is as follows:
- 11 a.m.: Cultural & Wellness Enterprises and George Fox Connect Ceremony
- 3 p.m.: Industrial Enterprise Ceremony
This format allows a more personalized and celebratory atmosphere for our graduates and their families and, like last year, we are calling for “all-community” participation. What a thrill it is to see graduates, their families, and friends come together to celebrate!
Volunteers are vital to the smooth execution of the day’s events and help make the day memorable for our graduates and their guests. This day could not happen without you!
Staff members, please sign up for a time to serve in one of the two ceremonies. A $50 stipend or three hours of time off (with supervisor approval) is available for those employees not already scheduled to work. Non-employees who volunteer will receive a $50 gift card.
