Are you a returning student or an employee who has a chronic illness/medical condition, has celiac disease/gluten intolerance, or is on the autism spectrum? Disability & Accessibility Services is looking for leaders/facilitators for these three different affinity groups on the Newberg campus.
The goal is to provide a safe space for students with these conditions, diagnoses, and/or restrictions to connect with other students with similar experiences in order to reduce feelings of isolation and build community.

The Hadlock Student Center offers affordable group rentals for kayaks, paddleboards, river tubes, yard games, hammocks, and other popular equipment. If you are interested in reserving multiple items for a group outing in August or September, please do this as soon as possible to ensure equipment inventory is available and to help us prepare for your outing.
Many group coordinators have inquired for sports teams, student welcome activities, and staff bonding and residence life events. These items are also available to any students, employees or alumni for personal outings and for George Fox-related outings. However, things tend to book up fast for August and September, so please act now to ensure availability for your outing.
If you need help planning an outing, please reach out to AJ Heil at aheil@georgefox.edu for suggestions on locations and logistics.
If you are interested in making a reservation for any of our equipment, please visit our website here for pricing, availability, and to make an online reservation. If you have difficulties making a reservation, you can also call or email the Hadlock Student Center at studentcenter@georgefox.edu.

Tell us what you think about gratitude and let us know how it has transformed your or someone else’s life. Please use this short survey to share your experience and let us know if we can share it with our George Fox community next Wednesday! (Please provide feedback by Friday, July 23.)
“In normal life we hardly realize how much more we receive than we give, and life cannot be rich without such gratitude. It is so easy to overestimate the importance of our own achievements compared with what we owe to the help of others.â€
