Exercise Science Club hosts Zoom meeting on muscle fiber research March 10

You are invited to attend a meeting hosted by the university’s Exercise Science Club! We are honored to host Dr. Gwenaelle Begue of California State University Sacramento for a Zoom session at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10.

Dr. Begue is an assistant professor of exercise science and director of the Integrative Exercise Biology Lab at California State. She is also a post-doctoral associate at Ball State University in the Human Performance Lab. Her research interests include mixed skeletal muscle and fiber adaptation in response to acute and exercise training through protein and gene expression, as well as epigenetic phenomenon.

Dr. Begue will speak about her muscle fiber research, as well as her new research on renal patients and Parkinson’s patients. Mark your calendar to join us at this link. We hope to see you there!
