FERPA release for student letters of recommendation

If you are asked to write a recommendation for a student, please get a signed FERPA Release for Letter of Recommendation form from the student.

If you are giving out any FERPA-protected information about the student, a signed release is required. Please direct students to the online version or PDF version of the form on our FERPA webpage.
