Annual Woolman Peacemaking Forum coming to Newberg, Portland campuses

The university’s Center for Peace and Justice invites all to the 29th annual Woolman Peacemaking Forum, featuring pastor and advocate Alexia Salvatierra, on the Newberg and Portland campuses March 3-5. The theme of the event is “People of Peace: Effective Faith-Rooted Advocacy.”

Here is the schedule of events:

Monday, March 3
Missional Ecclessiology
Portland Center Room 265, 7-10 p.m.

Alexia will be speaking in this course, held at George Fox Evangelical Seminary at the Portland Center. Attendance is free and no RSVP is required.

Tuesday, March 4
Faith-rooted advocacy training session with George Fox University praxis class, 9 a.m to 3 p.m.

Held at the Tilikum Retreat Center. Alexia will lead this training session. As attendees must commit to the entire session, those interested must RSVP by email to cbaldwin@georgefox.edu to attend.

Woolman Peacemaking Forum, Main Evening Session, 7-9 p.m., Hoover 105
“Faith-Rooted Organizing: Mobilizing the Church in Service to the World”

This evening session featuring Alexia will be on the Newberg campus. Attendance is free and no RSVP is required.

Wednesday, March 5
