Anna (Alumni and Parent Relations) and Josiah (Portland Center Computer Support Specialist) Philipsen welcomed their son, Landon Carter, into the world on Feb. 21. He was two and a half weeks early and was a healthy 6 pounds, 6 ounces and 19 inches long. He was born at Salem General Hospital with the assistance of some George Fox alumni nurses “who were very kind,†says Josiah.
