Openings still available for Search Advocacy Training

In order to promote equitable hiring practices and inclusivity in the workplace, and to further encourage the Be Known promise to our students, George Fox offers Search Advocacy Training. The workshop series establishes a theoretical foundation of current research about implicit bias and diversity, information about the changing legal landscape in hiring, and an overview of inclusive employment principles.

Rebecca Hernandez will teach a two-day session on Tuesday, June 6, and Thursday, June 8, from 7:30 a.m. until noon. Each day’s session will include a full breakfast, served from 7:30 to 8 a.m., and training from 8 a.m. to  noon. A boxed lunch will be included on June 6, as well as a ticket to the employee barbecue on the quad on June 8.
