All invited to hear Michelle Loyd-Paige in chapel this morning

Join us in Bauman Auditorium today (Tuesday) for chapel at 10:50 a.m. as we continue our John Woolman Peacemaking Forum. Our theme this year is “Peace: Personal and Global.”

This year, we welcome guest speaker Michelle Loyd-Paige, PhD, a professor of sociology and executive associate to the president for diversity and inclusion at Calvin College. She will speak this morning on “A Bigger Hospitality,” in which she will discuss how embracing cultural differences can enrich our worship.

After chapel, students are encouraged to stop by the Peacemaking Connections Expo and check out current job and internship opportunities available with various nonprofit peacemaking and service organizations. It will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Canyon Commons 103.

Vespers info: Wednesday at 7 p.m. we will continue our series “One” with a message from Psalm 95. If you are a part of a Spring Serve trip, be sure to come tomorrow night. We will be commissioning the serve trips and the students on them during the service.
