Top student musicians perform in Honors Recital Concert Thursday

Many of the university’s most talented musicians will take the Bauman Auditorium stage for an Honors Recital Concert at 7:30 p.m. this Thursday, March 23. The performance is free and open to the public, and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Recital participants were selected through an adjudicated competition. Open to all applied music students at George Fox, the competition is designed to simulate a professional audition.

Students selected to perform are Simeon Brown (violin), Kristian Apland (viola), Joshua Harding (baritone), Kenny Dye (trumpet), Stacey Zavala (piano), Natalie Marquette (soprano), Jacob Hoglund and Selena Wolkenhauer (piano), and Kyler Schubkegel (piano).

There will be a reception for the performers in the foyer following the recital.
