The 2015 team showed perseverance and grit throughout the year, battling tough with teams and never taking the easy road out. Their biggest win of the year came on the road against Willamette, who at that time was leading the Northwest Conference in the standings. The 3-1 victory will go down as Shrum’s favorite memory while playing at George Fox. Shrum finished with an All-NWC honorable mention her senior year, and is now fourth all-time in the George Fox record books with 3,009 assists.

The team finished with an overall record of 8-16 and 5-11 in the Northwest Conference, which doubled their wins overall from the 2014 season and added two more wins in conference play. Sophomore Delaney Cruz and junior Erin Sprowls led the Bruins on the offensive side of things, as they both recorded 235 kills on the season. Cruz and Sprowls were awarded an All-NWC honorable mention for their efforts. Freshman Danyle Dupray also had a nice rookie campaign, as she recorded nine matches with double-digit kills.
