Meet Jessica Truesdell, our Archives Assistant. Jessica (GFU ‘19), began work in November 2022 and recently completed her MLIS degree from San Jose State University (huzzah!). While a student at Fox, Jessica worked as an intern at the Archives. She is very happy to be back among the collections that sparked her passion for archival work. She loves the unique stories told by this institution’s history, and she especially loves sharing them with others. Outside of work, she enjoys playing computer games and spending time with her cat, Bruce Wayne.
Many exciting things are happening at the Archives. We are in the very early stages of beginning an oral history project featuring retired GFU employees and Classic Bruins. This fall, we’ll have six student workers, which will help as we ramp up processing projects, research and design updated exhibitions, and continue digitizing various cassettes and VHS tapes.
