Pennington House was originally built in 1904 and acquired by the college in 1993. This colonial Dutch-style home was originally the living quarters of former University president Levi Pennington. Levi Pennington was the University president for nearly 30 years, beginning his tenure in 1911 and retiring in 1941. Pennington lived in the Pennington house from 1917 until his passing in 1975. After his passing George Fox purchased the home to use for administrative purposes, however, it currently houses the George Fox University Honors program.
