After the addition of the nursing program in 2004, physical therapy in 2012, a physician assistant in 2021, and occupational therapy in 2024 the University decided to construct a new building for medical science students. The Medical Science Building was completed in 2021 and houses state-of-the-art classrooms and medical technologies. This new building is a 43,000-square-foot, three-story facility located 1.5 miles from campus behind Providence Medical Center.
