Homecoming Football Game 2021

Homecoming is a tradition that has been celebrated since 1932. Its purpose is to bring the George Fox community together. The original schedule consisted of four main activities, a girls volleyball game, a banquet served for the students, faculty, and alumni, and a play called “Poly’s Hero” that was accompanied by musicals and speeches following the ceremony.

Currently, homecoming is a three-day celebration beginning with a dinner on Friday, followed by a men’s soccer game and a volleyball game.  A football game on Saturday morning takes place at the pinnacle of the celebration. Significant activities begin on Saturday with a class reunion. The Tailgate party also takes place on Saturday before the football game, it is here that you can network with George Fox Alumni and also enjoy community with your peers. Later in the day, there is a women’s soccer game following the football game. Finally, on Sunday to conclude the celebration there is one last soccer game that takes place.
