What library could possibly be a better resource for primary documents in American History than our own Library of Congress?
1763-1815 (The American Revolution and the New Nation)
1815-1860 (National Expansion and Reform)
1860-1877 (Civil War and Reconstruction)

700 Terabytes and Counting

With over 700 terabytes of data the Library of Congress has only digitized about one percent of its constantly growing collection.  From digitizing the documents of President Lincoln to posting over 1.5 million pictures on the web and much more, the Library of Congress has a never ending job of preserving our history and information.  [...]
