KGFC radio – allowed students to practice different methods of public communication (turns into local FM station)
Minority Student Union – held by those of different race or nationality to teach others about their culture and traditions
Married Students Association – challenged those who were married and going to school to focus on their personal lives and places in marriage
1981
The Film Society – responsible for putting on films shown on campus
1985
Education Club – the main goal of this club is to keep in contact with all Education Majors and to tell them about education in Oregon State as well as in our school.
Home Ec. Club – making students aware of home economics, includes fashion shows, sewing, cooking, and providing care packages to other students.
Student Psychological Association – sharing the awareness of psychology to other students. Integrates Christianity and psychology helping students find careers after college.

Ski Club – a club for people who like to ski

Moving Images Society – this club teaches about advances in telecommunication to help students find jobs and learning more about the future of telecommunication.
Education Club – provided students with up-to-date information about teaching opportunities
1994
Young Republicans – a political organization for students
Rock Climbing Club- traveled to rock climbing gym in Beaverton
Philosophy Club – Sophilo provides a venue for philosophers to open their internal dialog into a conversation in which we explore the nature of love, knowledge and our own ethical responsibility

Business Club – got together to study and increase student’s interests in the business program

Dance Team – dance club that performs for homecoming and sporting events
Bruin Hosts – a team that worked at sports events to sell tickets and hand out programs
Art Club – practicing different types of art and learning the techniques of different time periods
2000
Darkroom – photograph school events on film
Little Bruins – develop relationships with elementary/middle school students in Newberg
Urban Services – spend Friday nights in Portland hanging out with the homeless (praying, feeding, getting to know them)
Class Reps – this club ut on events (games nights, etc) for their respective classes
Supreme Court – handles ASC jobs, the constitutionality of ASC, runs elections, etc.
ELITE – empowering leaders of integrity through experience: goes to conferences and workshops to provide students with opportunities
Service-Leadership House – do service projects around campus

Outdoor Club – outdoor activities including rock climbing and hiking
Umm… Umm.. Good – based on students from the art club, they have a social get together and make food and play games together.
2002
Social Work Club – provides social work majors with learning opportunities in the field and possible internship opportunities, organize volunteer trips
Snowboarding Club – provides students with the opportunities for snowboarding and fellowship (Bible studies)
2003
Psychology Club – unites psychology majors and minors, facilities closer relationships with peers and their faculty and connects with the broader George Fox community
Swing Club – This club gives beginning swing dancers lessons and gives students opportunities to improve their skills through regular meetings and extra dancing events

Bed and Breakfast Club – dedicated to providing prospective students with a great experience as they visit George Fox, giving them a place to stay and good food
2006
Emergency Relief Club – started to help hurricane victims recover from disaster. They helped GFU get involved with relief efforts such as fundraising, and sending gifts
Acting on AIDS – this club focused on raising awareness of AIDS and spent time praying for the crisis
ASME – American Society of Mechanical Engineers, a club for mechanical engineers, connects students with field experience and work opportunities
Accounting Club – provides students with work opportunities so they are equipped for the workforce

Bruin Heritage Society – keeping the current student body connected to its history

Skate Team – This ministry went down to the local skate park to show people that Christians aren’t all “stiff” and “boring”

Hawaiian Club – embodies the spirit of “aloha” by establishing a warm and supportive environment and providing an opportunity to learn about different cultures through means of social interactions
Latino Heritage Club – there exists a union of friendship, diversity, and culture. Students from Latino and non-Latino backgrounds exchange cross-cultural dialog and perspectives as well as engage in a shared student community
Quaere Verum – exists to seek truth as a community through conversation
Business Club – This club provides the students of George Fox University the opportunity to personal, hands-on experience with entrepreneurial applications
Social Work Club – gives professional and mentoring activities to social work majors as well as social activities which will establish bonds within and between the cohorts
Nursing Club – provides members with an opportunity to identify with their nursing profession and to foster intellectual, educational, spiritual and social activities related to professional nursing
IJM – International Justice Mission, a club centered around awareness about women in bondage around the world because of sex-trafficking

Mu Kappa – Mu Kappa is a club for missionary kids and third culture kids where they can express their culture with each other and teach others about their life experiences
Fashion Club – a club where students can celebrate culture as an art form and way of life. They host fashion shows, fundraisers, and have their own blog
Spoken Word – a club where Latino students share their culture with each other through faith
2015
Society for Women Engineers – this club’s goal is to unify women in the field of engineering and gain professional experience
Disk Golf – a club for students to come together and play disk golf
Transfer Club – This club’s focus is to provide transfer students with a good community as they join Fox
Viva La France! – This club’s mission is to gather together students with a passion for French food, culture, and language
Hawaii Club – provides a welcoming environment for Hawaiian students at Fox to get connected with each other and teach fellow students about Hawaiian culture
(Swing Club changed their name to Coast to Coast Swing)
Black Student Union and Alliance Club – This club’s goal is to raise awareness about the Black community and help students share their culture with others
2016
Fencing Club – teaches basic fencing skills and provides students with friendly competition through a lesser well-known sport
Game Night – This club’s mission is to create a community of students through board and card games, encouraging friendship and fun competition
ISI Roger Sherman Society – A club dedicated to providing a space for students to share political views (specifically conservative views) without judgment
