The Roberts Academic Center currently serves as the academic center for the Department of Health Services and recently the new location for the George Fox Mail Services. This building is dedicated to the Roberts family, Arthur and Fern Roberts who were supporters of the university.
Before the building was bought by the university and redone in 2007 before the 2008 academic year, Roberts was originally the Providence Newberg Hospital. After being purchased, the building got a complete makeover and houses the Health Services program, from Clinical Psychology, Nursing, and Physical Therapy.
Roberts is also the location for both Mail Services and the Bruin Pantry. Mail services moved out of its original location on campus and moved in a bigger space, which has paid off. The Bruin pantry is a food pantry for George Fox students where they can get grocery like items. Today, Roberts continues to serve the academic and well-being of George Fox students.
