George Fox hosts ‘An Evening of Jazz’ Concert on Jan. 26

Event to feature saxophonist and flutist Erica von Kleist, a graduate of Julliard School of Music

NEWBERG, Ore. – The Newberg community is invited to George Fox University’s Bauman Auditorium for “An Evening of Jazz” featuring saxophonist and flutist Erica von Kleist at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26.

Von Kleist will play with the George Fox University Jazz Ensemble and the Faculty Jazz Quartet. She is a graduate of the Juilliard School of Music and established herself early on in her career on the New York jazz scene. She has performed, toured and made Grammy-Nominated recordings with various artists, including the Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Darcy James Argue’s Secret Society, Chris Potter, Sean Jones, Seth MacFarlane, and Rufus Reid.
