NEWBERG, Ore. – For a second straight year, George Fox University invites alumni, students, parents and community members to its Newberg, Ore., campus for its annual “Bruin FanFest” on Saturday, Jan. 26.

The event will feature an indoor bounce house for children, face painting, crafts, a henna tattoo artist, a Polaroid photo booth, cotton candy, a raffle and prizes, a basketball shootout, and free Bruin swag. The activities are all free and will run from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. They will accompany the day’s main event: a basketball doubleheader against Lewis & Clark, with the women’s game tipping off at 4 p.m., followed by the men’s game at 6 p.m.

All attendees who wear Bruin gear will get free admission into the games. For sale will be exclusive “Bruin Nation” T-shirts for $6. Finally, the evening will also include a teddy bear toss, “Bruins and Bears,” during halftime of the women’s game, for which the school is collecting new teddy bears as a donation to sick children in hospitals. Teddy bears can be purchased beforehand and brought to the game, or at the ticket tables at the game.
