Molecular Workbench: visual, interactive experiments for science ed.

http://mw.concord.org/modeler/

Created by the Concord Consortium, the Molecular Workbench is “a modeling tool for designing and conducting computational experiments across science.”

Contains lots of Featured Simulations, as well as curriculum modules focused on chemical bonding, semiconductors, and diffusion.

An online manual instructs users on how to create their own simulations.

An “Articles” section contains writings on nanoscience education, quantum chemistry and a primer on how transistors work.

Users will need to install the free Molecular Workbench software, which is available for Windows, Linux, and Mac.
