The various outreach methods feature the process of discovery, historical changes in research, and a variety of scientific careers in industry, academia, and government.” The site features MicrobeWorld Radio, an in-depth focus on topics in microbiology, a weekly digest of what’s new in microbiology, links to other ASM sites, and more. An app for iPod Touch and iPhone is available for a fee.
