Find and Compare Public Data

Using Google you can find and compare public data. Go to and type in “unemployment rate” or “population” followed by a U.S. state or county and you will see the most recent estimates. Click on the link and you will be taken to an interactive chart that will let you add or remove data for different geographical areas.  (All data was produced and published by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and the U.S. Census Bureau’s Population Division.)
