The Edward Holman Science Center, which is known campus-wise as EHS, is home to the Science Department of George Fox University. Built three stories high and connected to an older George Fox building, EHS still continues to serve the campus today.<\/span><\/p>\n

EHS is named after Margaret Edwards, and Jack and Helen Holman, who became the contributors to the overall science program at George Fox. With about 36,000 sq ft built in 1993, the building houses five-classrooms, a single lecture hall, and 16 lab spaces where students of different scientific backgrounds come together to do scientific labs based on the classes that they take. EHS also houses the faculty houses for the science professors, but also you can find the engineering offices in there as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Wood-Mar Hall, which is considered to be one of the oldest buildings here at George Fox, is connected to EHS. The third floor has a mini auditorium where plays can be performed. Wood-Mar and EHS are held together by an atrium, which serves as for both old and new. Besides being an academic building, you can find EHS as a place to be for George Fox student traditions such as the 80\u2019s Dance. With all that goes on in EHS, it\u2019s no wonder this building has become a popular academic place here at Fox.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
