Fall charges are due on Thursday, Aug. 15<\/strong>. Do you have a plan in place to pay your balance? Review and follow these steps to make sure your financial aid is ready to go on time!<\/p>\n

  1. File your FAFSA<\/em>! If you have not filed yet, or if you still need to make corrections to your existing FAFSA, you will need to submit the application as soon as possible<\/strong> for us to package any federal and state aid you might be eligible for.<\/li>\n
  2. Check your MyGeorgeFox To Do List<\/em>. In many cases, we are unable to issue or even offer aid until checklist items are completed. Instructions have been provided in MyGeorgeFox<\/a><\/strong> for any tasks that have been assigned to you.<\/li>\n
  3. Accept your Stafford loans<\/em>. If you want to use your federal Stafford loans, you can accept them in your MyGeorgeFox account under the Financial Aid tile. You also have the options to reduce or decline your loans.<\/li>\n
  4. Apply for PLUS\/private loans<\/em>. To add a federal PLUS loan or a private loan to your financial aid package, apply by July 15<\/strong> to ensure the funds will be disbursed by the payment due date.<\/li>\n
  5. Report outside scholarships<\/em>. If you have received any external scholarships, let us know<\/strong><\/a> so we can add them to your award package.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Apply for a payment plan<\/em>. We offer five-month payment plans each semester, and the first payment for the fall term will be due on July 15<\/strong>. To apply, complete this Payment Estimator<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and submit a Payment Selection Form<\/strong><\/a> as soon as possible.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    We encourage you to have all of these steps completed by Aug. 1<\/strong>. Students also need to be enrolled full time (12 or more credits) to receive their institutional aid each semester.<\/p>\n
