Interested in pursuing a career in healthcare? The vocation of the healer is a high and rewarding calling. But did you know that doctors and nurses experience higher-than-average levels of moral distress, burnout and depression?<\/p>\n

A new yearlong program, from 2024 to 2025, is designed for undergraduate students who desire to develop character virtues that will help them flourish as human beings while pursuing careers in healthcare.<\/p>\n

A small cohort of future healthcare leaders will be accepted into this new program. Students will meet monthly (six to eight times) for food, fellowship and mentorship with Professor Travis Pickell and select Christian healthcare professionals from the area. Students are expected to complete the entire program to earn academic credit (two credits total) and a certificate of completion.<\/p>\n
