To help ensure you have the correct information when making decisions, George Fox has partnered with Jennifer Stahel and Hilary Starnes from Providence Health Assurance to provide Medicare 101 seminars. These virtual seminars will help you understand the basics of Medicare in an easy-to-understand overview.<\/p>\n<p>Seminar topics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What is Medicare and why is it important?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Addressing the different parts of Medicare (the A, B, C &amp; D\u2019s of Medicare)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What are the differences between Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and Medicare Supplement?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When should you consider enrolling into Medicare and what does the process look like?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What are the costs to be enrolled in Medicare?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What to consider if you are planning to continue to work past age 65\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Learn how to avoid late enrollment penalties\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How to transition from an employer group plan to a Medicare plan<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Understand how to manage a Health Savings Account (HSA)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We hope this helps you and\/or your loved ones as you plan for the eventual transition to Medicare. You do not need to be eligible for Medicare to attend this seminar.
