What does it mean to be human?\u00a0This year\u2019s Dalton Lecture\u00a0explores the question\u00a0from both scientific and biblical perspectives, with an emphasis on awe. The lecture will identify shared values in both the scientific and spiritual approaches to exploring human distinctiveness.<\/p>\n

Join us tonight (Thursday<\/strong>) at\u00a07:30 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0in Bauman Auditorium for the lecture, \u201cStardust & Wonder,\u201d with Dr. Praveen Sethupathy, chair of the Department of Biomedical Sciences at Cornell University.<\/p>\n

Dr. Sethupathy will include concepts from science and genomics that invite the audience to marvel at who we are and how it relates to our calling as image bearers of God.<\/p>\n

The public is welcome, and admission is free. A George Fox Student Research Symposium and cookie reception will follow. Spiritual life credit is available to students who attend.<\/p>\n

There will be an additional science lecture on pediatric cancer from Dr. Sethupathy this afternoon at\u00a03 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0in Bauman Auditorium.<\/p>\n
