This is an open\u00a0invitation\u00a0to discuss student government\u00a0(otherwise known as the Associated Student Community, or ASC).\u00a0This group helps the\u00a0institution\u00a0understand the undergraduate community while providing resources and seeking to advocate to be change\u00a0agents in and for the community. The different roles are varied and can be found here<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each year, these individuals are voted into their roles. The election season begins in a few weeks and will gear up in March. ASC will send out additional details in the coming days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the meantime, if you would like to speak about the roles and the aspirations of the student government, Associate Dean of Students Dave Johnstone would be happy to do so over coffee or a meal! Costs will be fully covered.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
