Staff and students: With the rising gas prices and recent drier weather, more of you are biking to school. Please remember to always lock your bike<\/strong> with the thickest chain and lock you can buy.<\/p>\n

If you have an expensive bike, you might want to consider bringing a less expensive bike to campus, or to store your bike elsewhere, as it is very tempting to thieves. We have had a few reports lately of stolen bikes, so please check on your bike frequently and keep it locked!<\/p>\n

The security department also offers free bike registration at the security office. Just bring your bike over during office hours (7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday) and we can register your bike with the Newberg Police Department.<\/p>\n
